. . . Wow! what a day . . After all the months of preparation, the 2nd Ride-out was fantastic! Thanks to all who took part, from those who were part of the motorbike section, the vintage and classic car section, the Butts marshalling the junctions, Midland Bike Marshalls keeping constant pace, all the volunteers at both Lichfield Rugby Club and The Wych Elm, Sponsors, buyers of raffle tickets and T shirts, those supplying stickers and key fobs, providers of raffle tickets and prizes and all who came out to cheer us on our journey.

(they gave us the use of the car park and facilities without charge and had BJ's, their caterers, on hand for bacon baps, teas and coffee, snacks and soft drinks)

Where from and to?

11.30 am Depart East from Lichfield Rugby Club, on A51 to The Fox (Tamworth), 1st left on to Coton Lane, and then left at A513 to Alrewas and Kings Bromley. South on A515 to A51 then East to The Bowling Green and then South on Walsall Road to Pipe Hill and then continue to Bridge Cross Road, Chase Terrace Technology College.All riders are to obey speed limits, lead riders will remain below 40mph on open roads!

12.25 arrived at Chase Terrace Technology College and The Wych Elm, a trip of around 26 miles. Entertained by The Neon Brotherhood + sale + raffle.

The amount collected so far is £8,500. Plus, a bit more will come in once gift aid is taken into account!
